Hi, I’m Dr. Megan Shelton.

AACD Accredited clinician. Kois Center mentor. Founder of Shelton Solutions. I built, scaled, and sold a multimillion-dollar practice, and now I build the owners behind practices like yours. I bring the #CEOenergy with the clinical experience to create a partnership built on data, heart, fun, and wisdom.

It started with a chance.

In 2009, during a gap year, a doctor took on an orthodontic assistant with no credentials and let her build. So I built. Three ops became six. Paper became digital. Direct brackets became indirect. I timed procedures with a stopwatch and turned what I learned into standards, clinical and business, that the practice ran on long after I left.

Nobody handed me a framework. I earned one, rep by rep, chairside and in the back office where practices are actually won or lost. Everything Shelton Solutions teaches today started in that building.

The credential isn't the degree. It's the reps.

Then I went and got the degrees anyway.

Dental school. AACD Accreditation, a distinction few clinicians ever hold. A Kois Center mentorship. Invisalign Platinum Provider. I earned them in a fraction of the usual time, and I've heard what gets said about that: too young, too fast. Here's what I know about leadership after building and selling my own practice: it's the ability to decide and act. That's speed. It's also the exact skill the doctors I serve are missing, and the first one I install.

I've lived both sides: scrubs and blazer, operatory and org chart. I can evaluate your clinical standards and rebuild your leadership structure in the same conversation, because I've done each with my own hands. Most consultants know one world and guess at the other. I don't guess.

Why this firm exists.

Because in every practice I've walked into, the doctor did everything right and still ended up owned by the thing she built. Not one of them told me "I don't have enough money." Every single one said "I don't have enough time." Shelton Solutions exists to hand it back. Systems that hold without you holding them. A team that performs without drama. A practice that loves you back.

Effort was never the problem. Practices don't grow on effort. They grow on systems.
