By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit your information to us.

Pages visited, time on page, referring/exit pages, and general click behavior

We do not knowingly collect payment card information through this Site, as we do not sell products or process payments directly on the Site. This Site is intended for business inquiries only. Please do not submit patient information, protected health information, or any other health-related details through our forms.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Respond to your inquiries and schedule calls or consultations
Send you marketing and promotional emails about our services, insights, or offers (with the ability to opt out at any time — see Section 6)
Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
Measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and other platforms
Build custom and lookalike audiences for advertising purposes
Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share information with:
Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as:
Email marketing platforms (e.g., SquareSpace)
Customer relationship management (CRM) / scheduling tools (e.g., Google Calendar)
Website hosting and analytics providers
These providers are contractually restricted from using your information for purposes unrelated to the services they provide us.
Advertising and analytics platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, and Google Analytics, which receive information via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 4). Under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), sharing data with these platforms for targeted/cross-context behavioral advertising purposes may be considered a "sale" or "share" of personal information — see Section 8 for your opt-out rights.
Legal and safety reasons, where we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with the law, enforce our Terms and Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Shelton Solutions, our clients, or others.
Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies on the Site, including:
Meta Pixel - placed by Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to measure ad performance, build custom/lookalike audiences, and show you retargeted ads on Meta platforms based on your activity on our Site.
Google Ads tag / Google Analytics - used to measure Site traffic, conversions from Google Ads campaigns, and to support remarketing to Site visitors across the Google Display Network and other Google properties.
Other digital marketing platforms we may use from time to time for similar advertising and analytics purposes.
These technologies may collect information such as pages viewed, actions taken (e.g., form submissions), device/browser identifiers, and general location. This data may be linked with information Meta, Google, or other platforms already have about you from your use of their own services.
Your choices regarding cookies and tracking:
You can adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies, though this may affect Site functionality.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page and the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
You can manage your ad preferences directly through Meta's ad settings and Google's ad settings.
If we implement a cookie consent banner, EU/UK/California visitors will be able to manage cookie categories directly through that tool.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining our client and marketing records, complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. Contact and marketing data is generally retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, plus a reasonable period thereafter for recordkeeping purposes.
6. Email Marketing and Your Choices
If you sign up for our email list or submit an inquiry form, we may send you marketing emails. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time by:
Clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email, or
Emailing us directly at hello@sheltonsolutions.co with your request.
We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, including honoring opt-out requests promptly and not using false or misleading header/subject information. Please note that even after opting out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional or administrative communications (e.g., responding to a call you booked).
7. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16, where applicable under state law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Privacy Rights
California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@sheltonsolutions.co. We may need to verify your identity before processing your request. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

Access, correct, or delete your personal information;
Object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing;

Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Where your information is transferred outside the EEA/UK (e.g., to the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, where required.
To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@sheltonsolutions.co.
Canada (CASL / PIPEDA)
If you are located in Canada, we obtain consent before sending you commercial electronic messages and include an unsubscribe mechanism in every marketing email, consistent with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). You may withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us directly.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or platforms not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page; where required by law, we will provide additional notice.
